These Terms govern the use of the HSK 1 Lan app ("the App"), provided by Oriol Vaquero Moreno (Spain). By downloading or using the App, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. The service
The App is a tool for learning Chinese (HSK level) including radicals, vocabulary and phrases to practise, with answer checking and, in its paid version, advanced validation using artificial intelligence.
2. Minimum age
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are a minor in your country, you must have permission from your parent or legal guardian.
3. Subscriptions, purchases and renewal
- The App offers a free version and paid options: a one-time lifetime purchase and a monthly subscription. Prices and billing periods are shown in the App and on this website before you buy, and are charged through your Apple App Store or Google Play account.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your Apple or Google account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; the period already paid stays active until it ends.
- The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment with no renewal.
- Refunds are governed by the policies of Apple App Store and Google Play, which process the payments.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the App for unlawful purposes or in a way that damages or overloads it;
- attempt to access, copy or extract its content or code without authorisation;
- circumvent the limitations of the free version or the payment mechanisms.
5. Intellectual property
The App, its design, software and the educational content we create are protected and owned by Oriol Vaquero Moreno or its licensors. You are granted a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the App. You acquire no other rights over it.
6. AI validation
The advanced answer correction uses artificial intelligence. While we aim for maximum learning value, the AI can make mistakes and its assessments are not an absolute linguistic truth. The App is a study aid, not an official exam or certification.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, nor that the content is exhaustive or free of inaccuracies.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from the use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights granted to you by the mandatory consumer law of your country.
9. Changes to the App and these Terms
We may modify, suspend or discontinue features of the App, and update these Terms. We will publish the current version with its date. Continued use after a change implies acceptance.
10. Termination
We may suspend your access if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer rights you may have in your place of residence.
